Common Graduate Courses, Chiba University

To all students in the graduating year of their undergraduate degree

The university offers a "prior enrollment system" that allows students to take graduate school courses. All eligible students are encouraged to take advantage of this service.

Students

Undergraduate students who meet all the following requirements are eligible.
(1) Undergraduate students of Chiba University
(2) Students who are in their graduation year
(3) Students who wish to continue their studies at a graduate school of Chiba University.
(4) GPA of 2.8 or higher (basic requirement)

Course requirements

Students must meet the course requirements for each course.

Number of credits allowed

The maximum number of credits is 6 credits.

Registration procedures

Please follow the procedures set forth by the graduate school to which you are applying and 全学教育センター.

Earned credits

After entering a graduate school of Chiba University, students may apply to have any credits gained on these courses transferred to their graduate school grade transcript. The credit handling of the course in question will be determined by the graduate school in which the student enrolls. These credits are not counted in the undergraduate graduation requirements, but they are included in the maximum credits for undergraduate course registration.
